Top 10 Artist Brands During COVID-19

From viral TikTok trends to constant live streams, there’s no shortage of content to keep us distracted as quarantine continues. Now that we’re all settling into this new normal, we wanted to highlight some of the artists that have managed to rise above the noise. Here are our top artist brands that have made the most of their quarantine during COVID-19.

1. Twenty One Pilots – “Level of Concern”
Twenty One Pilots created and released their single “Level of Concern” accompanied by a clever music video while in quarantine. The song quickly rose to #1 on the Billboard Hot Rock Songs chart ending Panic! At The Disco’s 76-week reign. 

2. Quarantine Radio by Tory Lanez
Tory Lanez launched a daily Instagram Live series, Qaurantine Radio, that includes special guests and twerk competitions. His recent interview with Drake drew in over 300,000 viewers, and Lanez has gained over 2.2 million Instagram followers in the last 30 days following the success of the series and his new album. 

3. Rita Wilson’s Quarantunes
While battling COVID-19, Rita Wilson has connected with fans through her Quarantunes Spotify playlist with over 40,000 followers, Instagram posts and stories including her “Hip Hop Hooray” rap video that went viral and lead to a remix with group Naughty by Nature which all proceeds go to MusiCares to help musicians affected by COVID-19.

4. Miley Cyrus – “Bright Minded”
To help lift people’s spirits during quarantine, Miley Cyrus launched a new Instagram Live show, Bright MindedLed by Miley’s big personality, the series features celebrity guests and has starred Demi Lovato and Hailey Bieber among others.

5. Some Good News With John Krasinski
We need good news now, more than ever, and John Krasinski’s show “Some Good News” does just that. Some Good News has shown a major light on music by having Lin-Manuel Miranda and the cast of Hamilton on one episode and Chance The Rapper, Jonas Brothers, Billie Eilish, and Finneas on another.

6. Kaskade Live from the Grand Canyon
Kaskade became the first producer to perform on the Grand Canyon SkyWalk with his 2+ hour on the see-through platform extending 70 beyond the edge of the canyon and 4,000 feet above the canyon floor. The breathtaking performance was streamed live on Twitch, YouTube the the new BeApp.

7. Jesse McCartney’s The Quarantined Couple
Jesse McCartney and his fiancé Katie wrote, filmed and edited 3 episodes of The Quarantined Couple leading up to the release of his new single and music video “Yours.” They’ve also created and hosted a live game show called “Find That Item” with fans on Instagram Live.

8. Charlie XCX – “How I’m Feelin’ Now”
Charlie XCX announced she would be making a new album from quarantine over a recent Zoom call with over 1,000 fans. How I’m Feelin’ Now was released last week.

9. Maggie Rogers’ Coloring Book
Maggie Rogers dropped her very own coloring book available in her online store. All proceeds benefit Direct Relief to provide protective equipment and essential medical items to health workers responding to COVID-19.

10. Charlie Puth, Skrillex, T-Pain & more – “Pass The Beat”
Charlie Puth, Skrillex, T-Pain and others collaborated on a recent “Pass The Beat” Instagram challenge. The result was a cohesive video that successfully showcased each producer’s style from quarantine.
